The City of Rice Lake, WI is accepting application until Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 2:00 p.m. for a Regular Full-Time FLSA exempt City Planner position.

The ideal candidate shall possess a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning or closely related field, with experience in planning, land use, and code administration.  Significant experience may fulfill the requirements for education.

Duties to include, but not limited to, zoning, subdivision platting laws and regulations, planning, development of short- and long-range plans, and working with developers on potential projects.

This position is responsible for the supervision of one P/T employee and coordinates various contracted services such as engineering, property assessment, building inspection, and FBO/Airport management.

The City provides a generous benefit package, including participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System. The salary range is $71,000 - $78,500/yr. depending on qualifications and experience. The City of Rice Lake is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
