The City of Plymouth is seeking to find its next dynamic leader to serve as Planning Manager.  Plymouth is home to awarding winning schools, highly valued parks, trails and community facilities; committed and caring residents; and the 4th largest economy in the state, including many med-tech businesses.  The Planning Manager will help lead and implement the 2050 Comprehensive Plan; update land use and zoning policies; and facilitate community engagement around the strategic priorities of City Center revitalization, redevelopment, sustainability and being a city of choice.  The desired candidate will be a creative problem-solver, who can build consensus among a variety of stakeholders that is in alignment the City’s CIVIC values. 

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of related experience, including at least three years of experience managing complex projects or providing work direction to others.
