The Planning Analyst, as part of a new team focused on coordinating long-range planning across state government, will conduct the research, analysis, planning, deliverables development, and communication necessary to develop solid long-term plans to improve the quality of life for Minnesotans. This position will support the development of long-range plans across a wide variety of issue areas, which could include but are not limited to climate resiliency, rural economic development, economic mobility, workforce development, housing, and artificial intelligence.

The Planning Analyst, reporting up to the Planning Program Manager, is responsible for leading quantitative and qualitative research coordination and data analysis as well as deliverable development work, coordinating across staff from other government agencies and organizations outside of state government on inter-agency work groups and task forces.
