Senior Planner - Long Range and Parks

Senior, professional planning position requiring thorough knowledge of and experience applying planning concepts, principles, and techniques including comprehensive planning, zoning ordinances, environmental review processes, transportation and park planning.
This position is responsible for community outreach and then taking the community input and working with landscape designers to implement new parks or redevelopment of existing parks. Requires coordination with internal departments and outside contractors.
Position also updates 2040 Comprehensive Plan in cooperation with the Met Council.
Position likely to start at the mid-point based in experience. This is not a remote position.
